Bring Us To Your Next Event
We love partnering with people who care about community.
Bent Ear Books is a pop-up indie bookstore, hoping to upgrade to a bookmobile in the future. We are based on Seattle’s Eastside, serving the greater Seattle area, Northshore, and surrounding Pacific Northwest communities. We show up at markets, events, and gathering spaces with a curated mix of new and used books designed to invite curiosity and conversation.
If you’re hosting something that brings people together, we’d love to hear from you.
The Experience: We bring the books, the shelves, and the cozy indie bookshop vibe directly to your venue.
Who We Work With
We collaborate with people and organizations who are building community in their own way, including:
-
Farmers markets and artisan markets
-
Breweries, cafés, and neighborhood gathering spaces
-
Community festivals and seasonal events
-
Wellness, education, and creative organizations
-
Independent authors and small press publishers
-
Local businesses hosting special events
What Partnerships Can Look Like
Every event is a little different, but here are a few ways we can show up:
-
A pop-up tent and/or table set up at your event or venue
-
Curated book selections tailored to your audience or theme
-
Seasonal or themed reading collections
-
Author features, book launches, and signings
-
Collaborative community events and cross-promotions
We’re flexible, and we care most about alignment... your audience, your space, and the kind of experience you’re trying to create.
For Independent Authors
We especially love working with independent authors.
If you’re launching a book, hosting a reading, or looking for ways to get your work into community spaces, we’d love to connect and explore what might be possible.
How To Reach Us
If you’d like to work together, send us a message with:
-
A little about your event or space
-
Your timeline
-
Where you’re located
-
And what you’re hoping to create
We’ll take it from there.
Why We Do This
Stories help us better understand ourselves, each other, and the world around us. But community is built through shared experiences, conversations, and opportunities to gather.
Books create connection.
That's why we partner with local businesses, organizations, and community spaces throughout the Pacific Northwest to create welcoming events where people can discover great books, meet new people, and share ideas.
Together, we can create more opportunities for curiosity, connection, and conversation.
